If I Go Missing is a notification service that allows users to schedule automated messages to be sent to designated contacts if they fail to check in within a specified time period. The Service is intended for personal safety, peace of mind, and emergency communication purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current contact information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Send spam, unsolicited communications, or commercial content
• Transmit malware, illegal content, or anything harmful
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Message Content

You are solely responsible for the content of messages you create. You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a limited license to store and transmit it as necessary to provide the Service. We do not monitor message content but may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Delays or failures in message delivery
• Service outages or technical difficulties
• Third-party service failures (SMS carriers, email providers, etc.)
• Actions taken or not taken based on messages sent through the Service

7. Fees and Payment

Certain features may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
